Constructivist Collection

The Constructivist CollectionTable is an exercise in turning a small set of components into something greater than the sum of its parts.

Built from a single slab of cherry, every part is nearly identical in shape, grain, and tone. Each leg is simply rotated 90 degrees, giving the table an offset, architectural form. A drawer is tucked into the apron and mirrored on the surrounding sides, almost hidden by the continued repetition across the piece.

To keep waste to a minimum, the offcuts from the table were reformed to serve a new purpose.  These blocks were given brutalist cutouts and rotated in place to form the matching Constructivist Lamp.

This collectione design finds expression through repetition, simple in concept but unexpectedly dynamic in form.
